Meet Fatima Njoya, a student of fashion journalism + media communication based in Hamburg.
🥐Croissants.🥐There was this cute little Croissanterie in my Berlin neighborhood. A recommendation from my good friend Phil and in my opinion, the place with the best croissants in Berlin or at least the fanciest. I would recommend Lauge-Frischkäse and lemon.
My heavy rotation includes three songs and I can hardly say which one of them is the best mood-riser. The first one is Pia from the german indie band Schorl3, such an earworm and the video is a gem. The other one is You & Me from Rola and Wendy Shay and last but not least my summer nostalgia song Angela from Hatik.

I dress myself and eat something salty or a weird combination out of Turkish feta (the one from gazi) and black olives. Normally I would also add meeting people and hosting dinner for friends as well as trying as much new things as possible. But since we are living a new normal, I am doing whatever feels right at the moment.
Definitely some statement earrings. Denim one-pieces or something with corduroy or a bold blazer. I am not sure if I really am a “personal uniform” kind of person. (But I do have an anti-uniform: You will never catch me wearing a “classic” jeans) I dress like I feel, so every day is different. I would say I have an obsession for certain things like, wide leg trousers, knee-high boots, blazer and denim-pieces. As you may have noticed: decisions are not my strength, I am more like a Maximalist, doing a lot of things simultaneously kind of person. So maybe Layering could be my personal uniform thing – why decide when you can wear everything on top of each other?
The future. I am currently moving from one place to another (due to my internships) so everything is new and exciting at the moment. Different cities faces and possibilities as well as also not knowing what happens next. The whole year was so inconsistent and I learned (or at least I tried to learn) how to relax and do nothing – quite a challenge for me. But while doing nothing you have time to look around and what I recognized is, that there are a lot people with different ethnicities getting into the spotlight and that is like a dream come true. The representation, the change and seeing people challenging the status quo.
